Sonoma Biotherapeutics currently has a cell therapy product in phase I clinical trials, an autologous T regulatory cell therapy with an indication focused on patients suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sonoma currently uses cell sorting in its manufacturing process to sort T regulatory cells. Sony Biotechnology offers one of the few cell sorters on the market with throughput high enough for Sonoma Biotherapeutics’s process that can be used in GMP manufacturing. Sonoma has been investigating the CGX10 cell isolation system as a potential alternative for several reasons - ease of use, it being a fully closed system and for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. Following the discussion on how Sonoma Biotherapeutics in using the new system, Sony Biotechnology team will share CGX10 system overview and application data.

Session Objective
• Sonoma Biotherapeutics cell sorter experience in isolation of T regulatory cells.
• How the Sony CGX10 Cell Isolation system- a fully GMP ready system, enables multiparametric isolation of rare cell populations
