Oracle Application Express (APEX) allows you to easily build and publish powerful solutions for both mobile and desktop devices. With Forms disappearing from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and OAF having never found wide adoption with Forms/PLSQL-Developers, APEX is a natural choice for developing customizations for EBS – especially since APEX is available at no additional licensing costs. The session shows best practices and lessons learned when implementing multiple self-service portals for E-Business Suite for both customers and suppliers. We will look at the basic functionality of Oracle APEX, show how APEX can be integrated with E-Business Suite even with single sign-on and look into architectural best practices when providing such portals on top of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI.
