How to Collect Data to Understand Your University's EDI Metrics

More and more technology transfer offices (TTOs) are adding equity, diversity, and inclusivity (EDI) data to their metrics. During this roundtable we’ll consider various techniques for overcoming privacy and other challenges associated with three forms of EDI-related data collection: Obtaining relevant data from human resources (HR) databases, requesting gender, race, and other demographic data as part of the invention disclosure (ID) process and inferring data based on the inventor's name.
