MSC have been investigated for a variety of applications in regenerative medicine, either in wild type or gene modified manners. Their uses in cancer have been marginally considered, however several data indicate how their deep pre-clinical and clinical investigations could open novel therapeutic trials for incurable cancer. In this session, speakers will share their strategies, technologies, challenges and current advancements in using gene modified MSC towards clinics in brain, lungs and pancreatic still deadly cancers.
