Session Objectives
- While it has been almost 30 years since the initial breakthrough on the ability of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) to treat solid tumors, the field may finally be at an inflection point in making this modality commercially available.
- The target action date by the FDA on Iovance’s lifileucel for advanced treatment of melanoma is November 25, 2023 and has other TIL combination therapies in Phase II clinical trials.
- Obsidian is enrolling patients in Phase 1 clinical trial for OBX-115, a TIL therapy genetically engineered to express membrane-bound IL15 which removes the need for use of the toxic and costly IL2 therapy.
- KSQ has TIL therapies in development that utilize their proprietary CRISPRomics platform to genetically enhance T-cells.
