Stem cell and the extracellular vesicles (EVs) contained within it are promising new therapies for several pathologies. As clinical trials begin to be conducted, it will be important to standardize the production and characterization of these preparations from different cellular sources and conduct clinical trials as rigorously as possible to ensure these therapies are successful. In this session, key representatives from both ISCT and the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles will discuss the latest translational and clinical developments in the use of the stem cell secretome and EVs.

  1. Learning isolation and characterization methods of secretome/EVs from different cell types
  2. Understanding challenges and perspectives for clinical secretome/EV production and use
  3. Learn the results of the first clinical secretome/EV applications
