Manufacturing is one the most important cost drivers of these therapies, but during Process Development key decisions should be made, and activities can be undertaken, to challenge the cost of goods of a therapy. Taking this into account, the CAR-T cell landscape as well as strategies for process development to translate a research-grade process into a GMP compliant manufacture method will be discussed during this presentation. We will specifically focus on the challenges and opportunities in CAR-T cell manufacturing.
