In recent years, the production process of induced pluripotent cells (iPSCs) and terminally differentiated cells derived from iPSCs has drastically improved. This has made it possible to develop reliable protocols utilizing iPSC-based technologies not only for therapeutic application but also for disease modeling and drug testing. The speakers will provide examples of how we can currently use this technology, giving us an idea of how close we really are to their application in a clinical setting.
