In the 2022 ICIS research workshop, SIGSI explores the adoption and use of emergent technologies and the possible DEI and ethical issues that come with digitization. While IS is fast evolving, so are concerns about the dark side of these technologies, especially when it comes to inclusion and ethical considerations of individuals. Consequently, we must understand the role of information systems in individuals’ and groups’ interaction and use of these technologies.
