Lori is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Bionique Testing Laboratories, LLC, a leading cGMP mycoplasma testing facility. She has over 30 years’ experience in clinical, environmental, and industrial microbiology and is a technical expert on alternative and rapid microbiological methods (RMMs). Lori previously worked at two different RMM suppliers and has experience implementing and optimizing these methods. In her new role, she will be instrumental in the expansion of Bionique’s product portfolio, including navigating the regulatory requirements related to the development, manufacturing, and release testing of biologics inclusive of cell & gene therapies. Lori received her PhD from the University of Minnesota in Microbial Ecology and performed postdoctoral research at Rutgers University and Los Alamos National Laboratory. She also holds a Master’s in Limnology and a Bachelor’s in Medical Technology.
