Dr. Jeanne Loring is a uniquely experienced leader in stem cell technology, genomics, and epigenetics in both industry and academia. She is a Professor and founding director of the Scripps Research Center for Regenerative Medicine; Founder and founding CSO of two biotechnology companies: Arcos BioScience and Aspen Neuroscience; Senior Science Advisor, National Stem Cell Foundation; BOD of Summit for Stem Cell Foundation; Research Fellow of the San Diego Zoo; Adjunct Professor, School of Public Health, SDSU; member of the Merck KGaA Ethics Advisory Panel; Grant reviewer for NIH, NASA, Canada, Japan, UK and the EU; Editorial board, Stem Cells and Development and Stem Cells Translational Medicine. She has published more than 200 scientific articles and two books on pluripotent stem cells, genomics, epigenetics, rescuing endangered species with stem cells, and stem cells on the International Space Station. She is a mentor and advisor for many stem cell researchers and companies.
