Elaine Peters PhD is Director, Analytical Capabilities Cell & Gene Therapy Technical Development at Genentech/Roche where she is responsible for the strategic framework establishing analytical and QC capabilities to support the commercialization of the cell and gene therapy portfolio.
Elaine has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with particular expertise in analytical development and QC. Elaine leads the Cell Therapy Visual Inspection and Particulate Control capability team and is a member of the Roche Global Center of Excellence team responsible for identifying and implementing particulate control strategies across the entire Roche portfolio of clinical and commercial products.
Elaine holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Glasgow in Scotland and an Executive Certificate in Leadership and Management from The Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Society of Cell & Gene Therapy (ASGCT), New York Academy of Sciences and the Society for Neuroscience.
