Kasia Urbanska is the Senior Director of Business Development, Cell Therapy Search and Evaluation at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS). BMS’ mission is to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases. In her role, Kasia and her team are focused on accelerating discovery and development of breakthrough medicines in cell therapy by sourcing external innovation to augment the internal R&D efforts at BMS.
Prior to joining BMS in 2013, Kasia worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where she led multiple immuno-oncology discovery programs. Prior to joining Janssen, Kasia completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylavania were she focused on tumor immunology and CAR-T therapy.
Kasia holds a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from the Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland.
