Josephine Lembong PhD Senior Manager, Science and Industry Affairs Alliance for Regenerative Medicine DC USA


Josephine Lembong is currently the Senior Manager of Science and Industry Affairs at the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM). She is a chemical engineer by training and has over 10 years of experience in the tissue engineering & regenerative medicine field. She currently manages ARM’s technical priorities and works with ARM member companies and key industry stakeholders to push the Cell & Gene Therapy manufacturing best practices projects forward. Prior to ARM, she was the Manager of Process Development at RoosterBio, where she led their hMSC manufacturing scaleup programs, oversaw the technical direction in GMP tech transfer, as well as managed their custom Process Design & Acceleration services. There, she also helped shape the company’s product strategy, established and managed product development programs, resulting in the launch of their clinical grade, closed-system bioprocess media product line. Josephine received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Maryland.
