Dr. Clarke has over 15 years of experience developing enabling solutions to support cell and gene therapies. Dominic is currently serving as Strategic Partner for Orange County Bio and the Co-chair of the ISCT Process Development and Manufacturing committee. In his most recent position, he served as the Chief Technical Officer, for Cell & Gene Therapies at Discovery Life Sciences, where he was responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction on their donor-derived starting material products & services. Prior positions also included Director of Global Cell Therapy Strategy & Innovation at Charles River Laboratories, Global Head of Cell Therapy at HemaCare and was the Director of R&D for BioLife Solutions. Dominic has led multiple cross-functional and collaborative efforts resulting in the development of novel cell therapy solutions ranging from starting materials and single-use consumables to cryopreservation reagents. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed papers and holds a PhD in cell and molecular biology from the State University of New York.
