Michaela has extensive experience in the life sciences industry both in biotechnology sectors and large pharma. She has specialized in the nonclinical development of cell and gene-based therapies. Latterly Michaela was a Specialist Advisor and Head of Nonclinical Safety and Immunotherapy Strategy at the UK Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, where she established the international reputation of the Catapult nonclinical team. She supported numerous academic teams through the nonclinical development pathway, as well as UK and Global SMEs and pharma organisations. Michaela is currently Senior Nonclinical Director at Moare Solutions Ltd.
Michaela has designed and implemented nonclinical development programmes for pluripotent stem cell therapies, somatic cell therapies, immune therapies, genetically modified cell therapies, gene therapies and tissue engineered products.
