Greg Crescenzi MBA Chief Commercial Officer KYTOPEN Cambridge, MA USA


Greg Crescenzi has over 30 years of life science leadership experience, researching, developing, marketing, or selling integral tools and technologies that helped advanced the biotechnology industry. Recently, Greg joined MIT spinout Kytopen as its Chief Commercial Officer responsible for leading the company’s commercial strategy to accelerate the platform’s use in clinic and customer applications.

Prior to Kytopen, Greg worked at Cytiva (formerly GE Healthcare Life Sciences) where he served as the Enterprise Delivery Leader for the Cell & Gene Therapy business helping to build the Enterprise Solutions business including delivery of the industry’s first and subsequent CAR-T FlexFactory®, end-to-end flexible manufacturing platforms for biomanufacturing. Greg also served as Business Leader for Cell Culture Services & Microcarriers and Business Leader Xcellerex and Cell Culture, where in four years he oversaw the quadrupling of revenues of Xcellerex and commercialized the first set of Xcellerex products developed by GE Healthcare Lifesciences.
Prior to joining GE Healthcare, Greg held leadership positions at BD Biosciences, where he commercialized BD’s first cell culture environment, a complete, defined system for the expansion of human mesenchymal stem cells; Pall Life Sciences in marketing and various roles at Millipore Corporation in business development, marketing and R&D.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from Boston University.
