Dominic Wall has been directly involved in cell therapy manufacturing since the mid 1990’s and is the Executive Director for Business Ventures at Australia’s only public hospital solely devoted to cancer care, research and education, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. In that role he is responsible for commercialisation, partnerships and the Centres of Excellence for Cellular Immunotherapy and Theranostics as well as pathology services. He is also the CEO (interim) and CSO of a commercial CDMO that has been operating for over 20 years, Cell Therapies Pty Ltd which manufactures cell and gene therapies for all phases of trial usage as well as for commercial supply with approvals across the Asia Pacific including Japan.
After completing his undergraduate education in London he completed a PhD at the University of Melbourne and obtained his Fellowship (FFSc) from the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2010. He is currently involved in commercial process development and manufacturing as well as supporting novel research in in-vivo therapy imaging and cell tracking in human subjects using PET and MRI , as well as complex cell therapy trials.
