Dr. Nikiforow is currently an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School with the Stem Cell Transplant Program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Medical Director of the Cell Manipulation Core Facility (CMCF), and Technical Director of DFCI’s Immune Effector Cell Program. Dr. Nikiforow earned her MD and a PhD in Immunobiology at Yale University prior to joining DFCI for training and as faculty.
Dr. Nikiforow has pursued a translational research career focusing on the manufacturing of adoptive cellular products and their use in clinical trials in multiple disease settings. She is or has been actively engaged with multiple professional societies to streamline creation and delivery of novel cell therapies including ISCT as North America Regional Secretary, CIBMTR, FACT’s IEC Standards Writing Committee, and as leader of ASTCT’s 80/20 Task Force.
