Hope Guidry-Groves is Senior Director, Network Partners at the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP)/Be The Match. She leads the Donor Collection Services team which is committed to consistently delivering service, quality and experience excellence through optimal capacity and capability utilization of an agile U.S and Mexico-based apheresis and marrow collection network that serves to meet current and future growth demand for every product provided for patient therapy.
Prior to joining NMDP in May 2021, Hope was Director of Cellular Life Solutions at Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center (GCRBC) in Houston, TX. She was directly involved with all aspects of GCRBC’s National Marrow Donor contracted donor center, multi-state recruitment center, and medical apheresis collection center for over 15 years. As Director, she managed the strategic, operational and business development activities of the cellular therapy and bone marrow transplant services at The Blood Center. Under her leadership, Cellular Life Solutions collected high-quality hematopoietic progenitor cell (HPC) products for FDA-approved commercial immunotherapies, biotech, biopharma and academic institutions, for use in autologous patient care, unrelated and related stem cell transplants, and cutting-edge immunotherapy and research.
Hope is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and holds her certification in the AABB Cellular Therapies Certificate Program from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She currently serves on AABB’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access (DEIA) committee.
She has been married to her college sweetheart, Darrell Groves for over 35 years and is a proud mother of three children and an overjoyed grandmother of two.
