Margaret DiGuardo, M.D., is a board-certified Clinical Pathologist with additional board certifications in Molecular Genetic Pathology and Transfusion Medicine.
Dr. DiGuardo obtained residency training in Clinical Pathology at the University of Virginia and subspecialty training in both Molecular Genetics and Transfusion Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota where she is now on staff with a dual appointment in both. She serves as medical director for the Immune Progenitor and Cell Therapy labs for the Center of Regenerative Biotherapeutics as well as the Immunohematology laboratory and is the current co-chair of the ISCT Lab Practices Committee as well as the associate fellowship director of cell therapy at Mayo Clinic.
Dr. DiGuardo's practice focuses on molecular oncology as well as cellular therapies, including bone marrow transplant and novel therapeutics.
