Sven Verguts holds a Master in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Engineering focused on label-free cell culture monitoring. As the former founder of a biotech startup and a consultant for emerging biotech at Merck’s process solutions, he has experience in all aspects required to build a successful biotech venture. Currently, he leads the EMEA emerging biotech and ATMP consultant teams at Merck, offering insights into ATMP manufacturing processes for companies of all sizes and stages of development.
