Víctor holds a BSc in Biotechnology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and an MSc in Bioengineering from the Institut Químic de Sarrià (IQS). He is currently in the final year of his PhD, working under the supervision of Dr Martí Lecina (Institut Químic de Sarrià, IQS) and Dr Joaquim Vives (Banc de Sang i Teixits, BST). Their research in conjunction focuses on developing bioprocesses for the production of Wharton's Jelly Mesenchymal Stromal Cells. Soon, Víctor will embark on a research stay at Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica (iBET) with Dr. Margarida Serra. His interests include bioprocess design and optimization, animal cell technology, and advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs).
