"Dr. Kristina Levan, is a core team member of the national system transformation project ""Sweden World Leading in ATMP by 2030"" (ATMP2030), an initiative that aims to revolutionize the systems required for the successful development and implementation of advanced therapy products.



Within ATMP2030, Dr. Levan focuses on strategic issues that aim to enhancing the readiness level within the Swedish healthcare system for the introduction of ATMPs. Recognizing the central role of healthcare in the innovation process. With emphasis on the critical importance of securing the competence and capability to actively participate in clinical trials and to provide patients with access to groundbreaking therapies.



Dr. Levan is committed to the work towards securing the workforce in the field of ATMP and has invited representatives from the Swedish Universities to a national network for initiation of new educational activities. She also serves as a board member of the new national ATMP research school.
