Dominique de Jong has a multidisciplinary academic background that encompasses medicine, biomedical science, engineering, and business. She earned her master's degree in biomedical science from Leiden University Medical Center. Following her studies, Dominique transitioned into the industry, where she has held various roles within the life science startup ecosystem. Working directly with scientific founders and Technology Transfer Offices, Dominique has a strong understanding of the many hurdles early-stage startups face in moving breakthrough science into the clinic. In her current role at RegMed XB, Dominique collaborates with the RegMed XB Pilot Factory, a partnership of five CRO/CDMOs in the field of ATMPs and biomaterials with the mission to drive translation.
