Anna Falk PhD Professor Lund University Lund Sweden


Anna Falk is Professor at Lund University and have over the last 15 years been leading a research team that are using cellular reprogramming and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) for developing cell therapies. She has experience from working in Sweden, UK and US.

Furthermore, she has established and is directing core facilities offering services using cutting edge technologies in the area of Cell and Gene Therapy at both Karolinska Institutet and Lund University. Anna Falk is leading the IndiCell project, a Vinnova innovation milieu for iPSC derived cell therapy, is the director of Lund University ATMP center and the CSO at CCRM Nordic. Dr Falk has a unique combination of experience, with her vast knowledge of basic stem cell science, cell therapy development and the supporting infrastructure needed for accelerating cell therapy to patients. During the last years she has invested in creating optimal grounds for co-creation between academia, industry and health care for sustainable development and progression of cell and gene therapy to reach all patients in need.
