Takahiro holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Takai University in Japan and a Master of Science in Immunology and Inflammation from the University of Copenhagen, where he focused on developing viral-vector-based vaccines against Simian Immunodeficiency Virus, monkey version's HIV. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Immunology at the prestigious Peter Doherty Institute in Melbourne, Australia where his research focus on T cell differentiation during malaria infection and vaccination, utilizing cutting-edge CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing and single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) techniques.
With a deep passion for immunology, vaccine development, and immunotherapy against infections, Takahiro has accumulated significant experience in gene-editing, vaccine research, and in vivo studies. He is eager to leverage his technical expertise, robust immunological knowledge, and diverse international research experience in his future career as a scientist.
