GCT are rapidly expanding (mainly in high income countries). In middle and low income countries significant advances has been made to improve outcomes using novel transplant platforms and have started producing there own CGT products. What can we learn from them? Is complex always better? Suggestion: combine with South/Middle America region?

Session Objectives
  1. To give an overview of the Indian and Brazilian health system
  2. To describe the minimal infrastructure needs to build a BMT unit in India
  3. To give an overview of the current advanced cellular therapy scenario in Brazil
  4. Discuss the initiatives aiming to increase access to advanced cellular therapies, both in the private and public sectors
