​Many stem cell processing labs have evolved from performing routine procedures (RBC depletion, cryo, etc) to perform more complex procedures like CD34 selection and TCR ab/CD19 depletion. And now many even handle cryo/shipment/receipt and storage of licensed products and late-phase products. This session will discuss what these new responsibilities are and how they are handled

Session Objectives
  1. Understand the role of CTL in the current CT arena – present and future
  2. Discuss the changes occurring in the CT field and how those are affecting CTL – e.g. gene therapies
  3. Describe challenges the CTL are facing with the evolving field of CT – workforce, accreditation, audits
